HD motor brake kit for RXV

I noticed there is a heavy duty motor brake kit made by Reliance that boasts better performance than the stock setup. I'm considering trying it on the spare motor brake I keep on hand, but before I do I thought I'd ask here first. Anyone tried it yet??

Tried it, "motor brake fail" But I will say, it looks really cool, like a mini clutch disc.

What about the EZGO brand brake that's supposed to be HD?

We do primarily off-road riding, including very steep hills. It worries me to think that my motor brake may fail while descending a steep, rocky hill that would almost certainly end in injury to one of my daughters. Am I better to look for an HD style brake or maybe front disks instead? I have a '13 RXV; Jakes 6" spindle lift; 24" tires; 350 amp controller.

That one works fine, on Curtis RXV like yours. Sometimes problems on Danaher RXV.

Would you trust it for the type of riding we do? Or, should I look into disk brakes?

The motor brake actually does none of the normal slowing duties. Its only job is to hold the cart stopped after it comes to rest.
