Default All new componants! no go!!! Frustrated!!!

To whom it may concern ,
Please help me if you can !? My name is Bill I have M.S and I really miss my Golf cart!
I am new to this forum stuff so bare with me!
I had a bad terminal post on my old motor witch caused over heating and ultimately burnt out the motor controller! I have replaced everything !! Batteries, cables, motor, motor controller, cylinoid and the o.b.c!! I get power to controller but no go! This is what I have ,The motor is a Club Car DS 48 Volt Golf Cart AMD Extra Speed / Torgue Electric Motor DOO-4008A ,this is an upgrade from older one that I replaced. And I have a Club Car Golf Cart motor controller 400 amp alltrax NPX 4844 5k-0 input.Same as the old one that I replaced. Are they compatible? Should I have gotten a different controller with THIS motor?
Any help or advice you could send my way would be greatly appreciated!!!!!!
As I have had no response from the places of purchase!

THANK YOU !! THANK YOU!!!!
Bill

Hello Bill, Welcome to BGW.
I'm no pro and I didn't sleep in a Holiday Inn last nite, but between you, me and the good people on BGW I'm willin to bet we can get you goin.
We need a little more info on your cart.
Serial number?
What is battery pack voltage?
Does your solenoid click?
What type of throttle?
The motor and controller are compatible. It is possible that your controller was not programmed to your throttle. They must be programmed by seller. Did you have seller program controller?
If your controller was properly programmed then my next guess would be incorrect wiring.
Give us some more info, we'll help you out.

This appears to be a series drive cart. Can you confirm using the chart attached?

I am sorry I should have added the details of the cart as well as the issues! This is 1995 48v club car.Yes it is a series drive. I have replaced the solenoid and it does click also this was to be a pre programmed controller?. I have gone over all wiring and it all appears correct the new motor was well marked and I basically replaced wires one at a time!!So I am pretty sure it is right?! I have digi meter but not real familiar with it!!
Thanks for all of your help so far!!!!!
You guys are great!!!!!

It should have an LED and blink green 7 times when You hear the solenoid click.
