Default New 2 welding wire install

Just received my new 2 gauge welding wires and doing the install. Removed the cover to install the pack negative and positive cables. There are 2 additional wires crimped to the pack negative which I believe one to be the controller b- and the other appears to go to the obc. The positive also has an additional wire crimped to it. I assume I will need to cut these wires and add ring terminals and reconnect them?

Also I am aware about the OBC stud install but why can't I just route the cable thru the same hole as the positive? Does the OBC read voltage thru the cable running thru the OBC?

Here are pics.

Also it appears the pack positive and negative cables are larger than the 6 gauge cables I already replaced. They appear to possibly be 4 gauge. Don't find any writing on them but they are for sure larger than the 6 gauge I already replaced.

see install directions below - you will have to cut the big cable out and then stack the old connector on top of the new cable when installing.

The OBC measures current that is used from the pack through the ground cable
which goes through the OBC hole.
This information is used during charging to replace what has been used so that overcharging the batteries is minimized.

If you have bypassed the OBC to use and external charger that handles this function
then you do not need to run through the OBC hole and can eliminate the stud kit and one cable.

On Scotty's instructions it is showing the negative charger port lead going to the pack negative.
This would be correct if the OBC has been bypassed.
If not then that negative lead needs to go to the OBC by way of the wiring harness lead
that is connected to the charge port negative terminal.
This way the OBC can monitor and regulate the charge.

Scotty or some others, please correct me if this is wrong.
