2008 precedent
So my 2008 precedent make over is coming along pretty good so far. I must say that I have had a lot of help from David Hicks @ revolution golf carts with my 6inch lift, tires and wheels, plus a few other parts.
I was going to wait until next year to change my 4 12 volt batteries to 6 8volt but I feel the need to do it this year. How would it be if I put the 2 extra batteries in the bag well instead of cutting the tub? Or cut the tub and still put 2 batteries in the bag well make it a 64 volt cart? I want to change the cables to 2 ga welding wire. After looking at my motor it looks like the factory has 2 6ga and 2 #10 wire cables to it. Should I just go crazy and get a new motor, controller and battery charger and hop this thing up. Any ideas would be helpful we use the cart for evening riding around the neighborhood and the park next door. it does have led lights on the under side of the cart and I have plans for a radio. |

Re: 2008 precedent
Don't forget that for every battery you add the weight increases so you might not gain as much advantage as you think (unless the batteries are Lithium).
