Re: Wrecked club car
No damage to the tailgate or any further damage to the cart. All damage if from the initial wreck of the cart.

Re: Wrecked club car
From the vagueness of the pictures, I do not believe it is non-repairable by any means. Definitely will have to get it up in the air and pull the front suspension off and then you will see/know for sure what you have and need.
I do not ~believe the main frame rails are damaged, but again, hard to tell from the pics. |

Re: Wrecked club car
First off, TAhoeDawg is once again awesome. I just can't fit in an 11hr drive to take the cart there. I took it to Jake's and they are pretty convinced they can straighten the frame without too much difficulty. After looking at it, there are things shifted but nothing that can't be loosened, straightened, and re torqued. The steering arm is bent and needs replaced. Fortunately, the factory for those is a mile down the road. The goal is to pick it up friday with parts and labor $300. Now, fingers crossed, that goes according to plan. Plan B is have Dave ship me a frame from his shop and swap the parts over. I will keep everyone updated. I'll know in the day and a half or so how successful straightening the frame goes. And to top it all off, I got offered the night nurse supervisor at the hospital I work at. So I would be the head nurse in charge of the entire hospital at night. I'm now going to have several beers and hope I can pick up the cart on Friday. Whew!!

Re: Wrecked club car
I got my cart back! Woo Hoo!
Frame straightened Replaced the king pin, a arm sub plate, and steering arm. The total was $315. Feeling like I got out of this one lucky. I’ll post some picks when it’s light tomorrow. Thanks to Dave for helping me out. Sorry I couldn’t make it down to u. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
