Headlight difference TXT
My buddy has a 2014 or 15 .TXT and is looking for a headlight kit and noticed the kits for the older Txt models is a lot cheaper than the kits for the newer models. What is the difference in the body on them and will an older kit work? I have no idea, I’m a club car man so I told him I would ask the experts.

Re: Headlight difference TXT
How much cheaper do you want? One search on Amazon brought up a kit with recessed headlights, taillights, and wiring harness for $68.

I didn’t even look. He is looking at street legal kits. He said the newer body style kit was supposedly more money.

You sure it's a TXT? Might be an RXV?

Re: Headlight difference TXT
You have now explained why the cost is different. Your friend has a new body style, not a TXT. The kits will surely be more expensive than kits for a bodystyle such as the TXT that has been produced virtually unchanged since 1995. And he doesn't want a light kit. He wants a street legal kit. There are a lot more things involved than a simple light kit. That will be fairly expensive no matter the body style.
You exceeded my experience when you said street legal. Wish I could help. |

Re: Headlight difference TXT
Yes the newer TXT body style is just enough different that the older style lights, windshields and other accessories will not fit properly.
