Default 2001 EZGO TXT Series, need direction for next step.

I am troubleshooting a cart as described, and have found the following;
1. New batteries are correctly installed.
2. Solenoid does not click, but will if jumpers from pack on small terminals with resistor removed.
3. Resistor is within spec.
4. Diode across small terminals within spec.
5. Key switch and wires good to molex.
6. New micro switch in throttle, original had broken tab.
7. New ITS sensor, same pedal pole that goes through it.
8. Solenoid still does not click... What next?

So Does your cart have a reed switch? Run a jumper from battery pack+ to the forward micro switch and see if it runs. If so make that jumper permanent.

By reed switch, are you referrieng to inside of the charger port?

Simple. The solenoid small post need + and - to click the solenoid.... so which one are you missing when you try to go?

Yes, sounds like you are losing voltage somewhere in the activation circuit. Reed switch, forward micro switch, key switch, pedal switch, then to the solenoid. Also check the four wire Molex plug between the pedal switch and the controller.

I saw on the parts view where it "was", they apparently cut it from the circuit and twist tied the connection. No tape, no connector, nothing...
Where should I connect the B+ to at the micro switch? Thank you btw, you have been quite helpful.

Battery (+) goes to the keyswitch / then to the pedal switch/ then to the solenoid & controller circuit board

I don't have a diagram to show you, but a wire should go from B+ to first small terminal on the forward and reverse micro switch closest to the drivers side. Someone may have already done that. Take a DVM with the negative lead on B- with the cart in forward make sure you have pack voltage on both sides of that micro switch, also both sides of the key switch in on position and at the pedal switch. Once you press the pedal it should then go on to the solenoid.

Thank you for your invaluable help, the owner had previously run the jumper from the reed switch hot to the micro switch, but the wire had a fault and I replaced it.

That got my click, and with the manual I downloaded from this site I was able to use the flow chart to a bad pin connection on #2of the controller.

I love it when I am able to find fast, friendly, and knowledgeable assistance. Thanks guys and gals...

I'm glad you got it. I'm not as good as some of the others on here about giving step by step detail instructions, but I can point you in the right direction. Good job on figuring it out!
