Few possibilities
1. Shorted B+ or M- to B-.
2. Blown line driver (common issue with MXs)
3. Open Trace somewhere along the line from Tow/Run through key, pedal, direction and finally line. (common problem with EZGOs in general) they really like to weave power in and out of the controller I/Os

One warning... Nobody remanufactures controllers! They REPAIR them! This means that whatever component(s) failed is replaced, then the controller is tested and put back together for resale. Every other component in that controller is of the same age as the component(s) that failed. Which means that controller is ripe for failure again, as soon as it is put back into service.

FSIP has the ability to remanufacture, but that is not in their business model. It is too costly to strip the PCB of all original components, and install all new components. That is the definition of a remanufature. You can manufacture an entirely new controller for less. FSIP does manufacture controllers of their design.

You are better off just buying a new controller, if you can afford it. I suggest that you return that controller and request a refund from FSIP. They are a reputable company.

Apparently there is a lot of money in providing the cheapest solution regardless of the longevity of the solution.
The term re-manufacture should not be allowed to be applied to repaired electronics by law. This is a deceptive business practice that is pretty widespread. You can bet your ash if they tried this for cars or medical equipment the government would put the Kabosh on it.

Have to agree with Scotty and BobBoyce on this one.
I tried to save a few bucks and order a Curtis from overseas. It says Curtis
right on the label, but the controller has nothing but issues.

Do it right an order an AllTrax controller from Scotty.

Years ago I contacted FSIP Tech support asking for a list of parts that were put into every remanufactured speed controller. I got crickets
