Rxv Jake's lift brake cable question

Hey all. Looking for some help. I picked up a ezgo rxv and it came with a lift kit to install. I installed that last night but I'm not 100% sure about the brake cable relocate. According to the instructions its saying to drill a hole beneath the battery and run it through there as that will also give the passenger side the slack it needs to be relocated for the lift. Does anyone have better insight?? The instructions are basic at best and doesnt show a real clear picture of the hole where it should be ran, and rather then just drilling holes I wanna be sure. Any and all help is greatly appreciated!! The lift is done, just gotta do the brake cables.
