This should show you. Right from the repair manual. See if this helps any. I can look more at your problem when I get time but you should be able to make out how things go from this picture and the other one I posted a few days ago. Let me know how you come out. Tom

How can you tell thats bad from that photo?

Look at the picture where I put the red mark. You will see several more threads where valve has pulled into seat. Pretty common on these engine that have age on them. Tom
