Default 295 Robin Tachometer Advice

I’m new here, and I’m finishing up my modification list, last on my list was an tachometer. I’m looking at the Equus 8068 or other if you have a recomendation.
My question is this:
Is it best to install the sender wire to the kill wire of the ignition coil?
Or, is it better to use the inductive clamp and mount it to the spark plug wire?
My cart is a EZGO TXT with 295 Robin Engine.

Any help, wiring diagrams, advice, tachometer model numbers would be AWESOME!
This is my modified 295 Robin Engine:

So, I went ahead and ordered the Equus tachometer. I went ahead and ordered the “black” gauge version which includes the inductive spark plug wire sensor, part # 6068. It is the same gauge as the common white faced/silver one that a lot of people order on this forum, but the # 6068 is all black with white back lighting. And it comes with the inductive pickup sensor. I took this screen shot from the Equus website to show you what it looks like.

Also, a question for those of you running the Equus 8068 or 6068 tachometer gauge on the Robin Fiji 295cc or 350cc 4 cycle engine.
I know this is a two cylinder engine, but, did you select the “2 cylinder” mode on the tachometer?
I only ask because on these engines, both cylinders fire at the exact same time. Therefore, I didn’t know if it should be set to “1 cyl”-“2 cyl”-“4 cyl”.
I thanks in advance!
