EZGO Electric Shuttle IXT 6
Yes, I am new.
So many things look different from posts here. 5 lug nuts not 4, hydraulic brakes, separate parking brake. Think I'm in the right forum, right? Will post pictures after my 7 day waiting period. (already got some awesome advise from cgtech! thanks!) Appreciate the forum and members, I have leveraged and helped many on boating (sail and power) before. Hope to do it in this adventure. CB |

Re: EZGO Electric Shuttle IXT 6
Yes, you are in the right place. Heavier carts tend to use the 5 lug wheels. What year is your shuttle, and where are you located?

Re: EZGO Electric Shuttle IXT 6
Welcome to BGW! I'm about 90 miles east of Chattanooga TN. The nearest town is Turtletown TN, next nearest is Ducktown TN. I'm in the mountains between them. I have a Shuttle 2+2.

I too have one of these. I upgraded to 48v with a ScottyB kit and the thing is an animal.

Re: EZGO Electric Shuttle IXT 6
I got mine out of a cow pasture. No batteries, controller, motor, or top, for $50.
Best buy ever. I pieced it together out of in shop parts. I dropped a 10 hp D&D motor, 500 amp alltrax, 6/8v batteries in it and slapped some tires on...it goes and goes. We use it in the shipping and receiving dept every day. |

Re: EZGO Electric Shuttle IXT 6
Thanks BB, scottyb and Lochlin. Do your Shuttle's have hydraulic brakes? Have you lifted them?

It turned out to be a flood cart, here is the rebuild thread... http://www.buggiesgonewild.com/elect...ther-cart.html After all of that work, I am now in the process of tearing it down to use parts from it to build up a newer cart. Bob |
