Default Re: Motor slow turning over

Well I got the s/g in today. Put it on and the same thing is happening. The motor will barely turn over. It did spin the motor with the sparkplug out but then smoke started coming out of the brush end of the s/g. The ground wire going to the battery jumps everytime I try to start it. I thought I was getting a better one but, it turned out to be another Dynamo. Now I don't know what to do. Any suggestions from anybody?

Send it back. Get a refund. Call David hicks at revolution golf cars. I cant open it because I'm on my phone, but click the site sponsors link at the top of the page and you'll see a link there to go to his website and phone number. Hes a club car guy but I would have to imagine the Kawasaki motor in the ezgo uses the same starter/generator as the club car.

If ita not the same, go here. https://shop.txtsv.com/shop-ezgo/acc...xoCSBcQAvD_BwE

Problem solved! Turns out the previous repair person wired the S/G wrong. I should have checked the drawings earlier.
