No start
I just recently purchased a 98 ezgo medalist. The cart has a Vegas Carts 460 engine, that I was told was blown. After a little love and care, I found out one of the connecting rod bolts had come loose. Reassembled the engine, and WALAA! All is good. After about a half hour of riding, the cart would not start. When pushing on the gas pedal, absolutely nothing. I jumped the starter circuit solenoid and it will turn over. So I purchased a new solenoid. Same issue. The other thing I found is the inline glass fuse was blown. I replaced it and still no go. After a few minutes of trouble shooting, the fuse is blown again. Everything works on the cart except the starter circuit. I'm hoping someone has an idea where to start, because I am completely lost...
