Default Additional lighting

I have a set of LED motorcycle driving lights that I want to install them on my 2018 drive 2 PTV. I believe they draw 35 W of power each. Would it be too much for the electrical system? I was thinking about just tapping them into the stock headlight wiring so they will go on when I turn the headlights on.

Your thoughts?

The power for the lights comes from the battery. If you have a large automotive type battery then yes, you can use the lights. I would wire them direct to the battery with a fuse, and use a relay to turn them on. This is the safest way.

Note: if you use the lights a lot, say hours and hours at a time, it may draw the battery down. stock charging systems may not be enough to recharge the battery.

Thank you...I will pick up a relay and switch kit.
