Default 2015 YDRAX6F Fuel Pressure

G'day Fellas,

I'm looking at a 2015 injected YDRA cart that won't rev unless you back the throttle off. As soon as you depress the throttle further it quits.

I believe the fuel pump has had a death but can not find the pressure specs searching here or Google. I assume I am searching the wrong terms somehow.

Can someone let me know please.

Cheers,
Rob

I believe its 32psi, or 2.2bar. (But yamaha dealer system wont let me in right now for some reason, so I cant verify). I also believe the fittings are the same as the ford inline style for the gauge.

Thanks yet again for your help and tips cgtech, it's been invaluable time and again and not just for myself I am sure.

In the abscence of earlier information I went over this morning and pulled the pump.
The pump housing was crinkly rust, the pressure relief valve was crinkly rust, the filter sock was caked with what turned out to be rust "dust/mud" and when I squeezed it, had water come out of it.
Drained the tank, cleaned the sock as best I could with what you guys call denatured alcohol(methylated spirits in Australia) as it absorbs water. Wire brushed the rust off the outside of the pump and pressure relief, filled the tank with clean fuel and it runs as it should.
I let them know that they are running on borrowed time however.

Have a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year from down under.

Rob
