Secondary Clutch Seized up
My cart is running fine and all of a sudden it won’t go. The secondary clutch is not turning. What can I do? It is my dads cart and he let the neighbor put a new belt on it and the belt is not tight at all. I am not sure if that is an issue as I hadn’t looked at the engine before.

Long shot here but sounds to me like the clip came off the back of the helix and now there is no tension on the belt.

Just to clarify, gas Yamaha, model, year? Does the clutch spin when you push the cart?

And the belt won't be particularly tight unless the engine is running to engage the primary clutch.

I second the clip being broken depending on what year your cart is. Fairly common issue Pics or video would help though :) |

It is definitely seized but moved a bit here and there now nothing again. I keep trying to upload a video but it says file invalid?
