Yamaha G8 loud and loss of power
Hi guys , so last year I snapped a shaft in the rear end so I rebuilt it over the winter , motor was fine but now that its back together its slow and lack of power . Is it a carb issue or adjustments on the throttle cable ?
as for loud sounds like its coming from the lifters, valves .....just irritating that you can't hear the person next to you talking . thanks for any help guys . |

No way to diagnose without more data.
Good gas? Tune up? Oil change? Normal maintenance is super important. When you drain the oil, drain it through a cheese cloth or cloth diaper and look for metal shavings. Noise can be from worn parts or low oil flow. |

Gas is fresh when I put it all back together. I'll aslo do a tune up see what happens |
