Default 88 Easygo marathon fuel filter

Just finished “refurbishing” we’ll say , my 2stroke easy and runs fine, little bit of a fart on deceleration sometimes. I made sure throttle is closing immediately upon taking foot off the pedal. Still the odd time it puffs, then I noticed while running the fuel filter was maybe 1/4 full, it’s straight up and down so easy to gauge. Now my question is should it be full or close to it?

I put a new filter on it, re-did the fuel lines good and tight, blew through the hard line across the back and lots of flow. Fired it up and still just trickles in at full throttle. Doesn’t spider or give the impression it’s starving for fuel

That's normal. It will never fill up.

Well I went for a ride across the street in an empty parking lot, first time opening it up since my back yard is to small and it was running great getting top speed out of it and I just started lifting my foot off the pedal cause I didn’t want to push it to much so soon after doing the rings on it, and it just locked right up stopped dead, wouldn’t turn over. Reached in to rotate the motor and it didn’t budge F$!k !! Pushed it home took belts off , pulled plug and shoved my inspection cam in the cylinder and I could turn it over back and forth, nothing clunking or knocking, looked good in the cylinder. No chips or chunks of anything. Hooked the starter belt up and turned over with plug out and it turns over and over, nothing abnormal sounding. What the hell could that have been. I’m scared to start it now LOL I do not want to pull that apart again.

Break in mix with new rings is 40;1 for the first tankful.

I do have a roughly 50:1 mix in it. I pulled the fuel line off of the fuel pump outlet and cranked it over for about five seconds and only got about a Spits worth of gas out of it. Maybe I’m just too used to working on cars but that doesn’t seem like very much at all.

That's not normal. It should be a healthy spurt on every pulse.
