Bob, I live in Mooresville NC north of Charlotte, what would I need to do to get my 72v Cushman programmed by you? Where do you live?

SouthEast TN. Send a PM to usgicollector, and get added to the list for the next NC trip.

Bob, would the flash file from gasouthern1's cart work to reset mine and make it programmable?

There were several controllers used in the early years of those carts. Each controller requires the exact file intended for its unique configuration. OS Version/Revision, Supervision Version/Revision, Vehicle Control Language Version, and Hardware Version/Revision. No other file is compatible. Unless the intent is to corrupt a controller, like some dealers do. It takes intentionally wanting to corrupt one, in order to trick a controller into loading the wrong file. Not a good idea, as the end result is rarely as intended.

I don't think you understand... A file used to restore a controller to factory condition MUST be from a brand new controller that has not been reconfigured or altered in any way. Otherwise, it will not provide the desired result of returning a controller to factory condition.

I see this is an older thread, however just wanting to share my experience with getting my 72v Cushman Hauler 1200X tuned by Bob Boyce!
Bob is a stand up guy!
He came to my home, and within 30 minutes he had my cart transformed from being a " regretful decision ", to being a Joy to drive!

Stock Speed = 12mph

Tuned Speed = 35mph

I initially had Bob turn all parameters to 100%,
but quickly found out that was too extreme!

He had to actually turn the Throttle response down to 50%, because at the mere touch of the throttle pedal, the front tires acted like they were suddenly filled with Helium, literally pulling them off the ground with less than 1/4 throttle. Again very fun, but not very practicle for every day use.

All in all, this buggy is the best i have had so far. Very pleased!!!!!

I have one of these 72v Cushmans and am desperate to increase the speed on this thing. It's miserably slow on the road. It's sounds like Bob Boyce is the only capable person for this? I live in central MO so it's not doing for me to get to the southeast just for this

Get 1314 programming software and a 1309 USB cable as the starting point.
