Broken brake cable on lifted TXT.
I had a feeling this day would come and it finally did. A brake cable broke. Driver side cable broke over the weekend. Also, is it common that when one of the brake cables is broken that the parking brake will not latch?
Good source for brake cables for a 6" lifted TXT? It's a 2001 series cart, same lift as 2001 & newer... |

Re: Broken brake cable on lifted TXT.
A six inch lift can cause some tugging on the cable. You can replace it with stock then get the extension. I'm not in the business, but there may be longer cables available without the extension but when I was looking a few years back all I found was the extension.
