Which lift.
I have a 2004 Jacobsen hauler 1200. Bought it last spring and got it running and it has run Like top since. It is a longer wheelbase and kinda low to the ground I have been toying with the ideal of putting a lift on it and hunting off it.
It has a 350robbins and will run 20mph, I want to maintain that speed. What type of lift should put on it? If you have one and lifted it what did you use and what would you avoid or do differently? I have been looking at the jakes 6216 5” drop axle kit. Thanks for any advice |

Re: Which lift.
When you lift a 1200 you have to flip the brakes/backing plates over and switch from side to side for clearance, are you planning on larger tires and offset wheels? (more money/more speed), Jake's makes a good dropped axle lift, a long travel lift even better if money is no problem.. I would stay away from a spindle lift.
When all is said and done you will love your lifted cart. |
