Ezgo TXT 1998 Service Manual

I have just tried to do a serial number lookup and I'm getting serial number not found? Anyone else have access to the database? Or maybe we need to double check that number on the cart again.

It's a shuttle, not a golf cart. So I was half right all along. Lol

Look for manuals for a shuttle if you need info for the brakes, and rear body and seats etc. text manuals will cover most of the rest.

Is yours electric or gas?

Ok, it's gas! What confused me is this post stated it's a golf cart. If you had said it had four forward facing seats, we would have known what you have. I may be able to find a manual for you. Do you want just user manual, parts manual or technical. I may not be able to get a tech manual for this particular cart, but I will try.

Hi Gents, thanks for all your replies. I stumbled across an advertisement that was placed before i bought this cart and it says Ezgo Shuttle 4 Seater. However, the cart really looks like a TXT. I recently bought steering parts for a TXT and they all fitted. Is the Ezgo Shuttle not classed as a golf cart? Also, i cannot find a 1998 Ezgo Shuttle Service Manual, can anyone help? I really need something that will help me be confident when i am ordering spare parts. Thanks again.

Read my previous posts. Txt manuals for that year will cover most parts you need except some brake parts and rear body. It is not classed as a golf cart but is built around the same chassis style only longer. Later model shuttle part manuals may list parts for brakes on the earlier shuttles. These models were produced for moving people around places like airports, factories theme parks etc. But can be fitted with golf bag rack if required!

This is the best i can do at the moment. Its for year 2002, but should be relevant to your brakes and bodywork.
The only issue with this manual would be the steering and suspension is for the later model. Just use a pre 2001 TXT manual for those parts as they changed mid 2001. your steering and front suspension is most likely the earlier style with a three bolt column and steering box on the bulkhead rather than the four bolt column and steering rack on the axle. There may be other slight differences but not many as far as i can see.
