Re: Disable Regen Braking
They use a modified magnet. However, this isn't all they do. They must use a modified magnet to allow for the controller to allow the motor to run speeds of what the newly modified motor is capable of running.

Re: Disable Regen Braking
. . . I THINK that the controller can be programmed for Pedal Up Mode=None, which eliminates the regen braking . . . but wait for Tahoe to verify this info . . .

This will keep the Regen braking from activating upon releasing the accel pedal. This has absolutely nothing to do with the vehicle controlling max speed via regen braking. There is no way possible to remove that with the scanner. This can be removed completely ONLY if the vehicle is an IQ car by using a high speed magnet. If it's an Excel car there's no way to do it. |

Re: Disable Regen Braking
The SN is PH1005-077121 and there is a D&D motor that is supposed to eliminate REGEN. The D&D Model No. is 170-506-0002. The Controller S/N is CCR522297. It shows Code A (045); Code B (131); Code C (140).
Not sure what all that means. |
