Help Programing Alltrax Controller
I have a Alltrax-DCX 500 IQ controller in my 2004 club car IQ. Also have the HD 400 amp solenoid. I cant connect to the controller for some reason. i have a dell laptop w/ windows XP. also i have the new software "build 39" installed to program the controller. i have done some research here about making sure the green light is solid before starting the program, still didn't work for me. i also got the cord from EV Drives its the RS 232 cable. Any help would be appreciated thanks

Re: Help Programing Alltrax Controller
OK just figured it out, I had to start the whole process like this. Everything unplugged from laptop, cart turned off w/ key, plugged up cord to controller, turned key on, then the light went solid on the controller then i plugged the usb in the computer and started the program. Worked the first time i tried it in this order. Sorry for all the confusion and thanks for the response on my problem.
Results. Stock CC 04 IQ #2 setting on controller 14 mph flat/down -- Regen Alltrax 500, 400 HD solenoid 2 gauge wire stock motor 26 mph flat 34 mph down a slight but long hill. NO REGEN :) Next up a PQ motor upgrade or some SHUNT style motor. Kevin |

Re: Help Programing Alltrax Controller
Ok.. I have this same problem.
I followed these instructions: Everything unplugged from laptop, cart turned off w/ key, plugged up cord to controller, turned key on, then the light went solid on the controller then i plugged the usb in the computer and started the program ( I also tried plugging in the cable to the controller after it was turned on). I keep getting "Motor Controller Not Found". I have a 2006 CC Precedent 48v Dell laptop with Windows XP Driver downloaded 39-Controller Pro software Cable: http://www.buy.com/prod/usb-2-0-to-r...213271837.html What am I missing? |
