Sam's Club golf cart battery charger?
Was at Sam's Club this morning and saw a Stanley brand golf cart charger. The box said it was a 3 stage, micro-processer controlled charger that would charge 6,8,12, 36 and 48 volt batteries. Also it had multi-connectors including what looked like SB50 (but could have been a CC plug)and one that looked like what is presently on late model powerwise chargers. All this for $99.95.
There was't a display model to touch so I'm going by what it said on the box which was very descriptive and had lots of pictures. Sam's was advertising this as a golf cart charger. Anybody know anything about these? |

Re: Sam's Club golf cart battery charger?
What got my attention was that it would charge both 36 and 48volt systems. That and the price influences my decision about upgrading to 48v.
However, I see that it is made in china so my enthusiasm has been diminished somewhat. I'm afraid a year from now it might be a $100 brick. |

Re: Sam's Club golf cart battery charger?
More importantly or should I say more costly, are the batteries it would be responsible for...
Remember if it seems too good to be true ....... I'm curious though, why don't you buy one and tell us if it works |
