Re: Clutch recommendation
Well I got my new clutch and belt in. It took longer to pick up all my tools than it did to install everything back on. Upon driving the cart it is very jerky as the belt is really tight. When it's in gear you cant even push the cart because the belt grabs. I called and spoke with Tom and he says to drive the cart so the belt will "wear in" to the clutch since it's all new or just put the old belt back on. I already have about 15 miles on it but it's still doing he same thing. Take off and top speed are much improved over stock but the jerking at low speed and initial take off are horrible. Gonna try the old belt tomorrow and see it it makes a difference.

Re: Clutch recommendation
Is it the sheaves that break in or is it something inside the clutch?

Re: Clutch recommendation
Exactly, that is where I bought a new one, plus a roller kit for my other one. He is a good guy and takes care of you.

Re: Clutch recommendation
Well I put the old belt back on. It will roll in gear now basicly because it is not as wide as the new belt and its a bit longer. It starts at little better but still wont idle. The engine barely starts and the clutch starts moving in. Think I need to make the spring a little stiffer so it will not start moving under under such little idle.
