Default Couple Questions

I have 3 questions
1. I just rebuilt my starter. Now when I take off I get a backfire?
2. The muffler makes a rattling sound, does it need to be replaced?
3. How do I know when its time to change the Clutch?

check the throttle linkage you may be spinning up faster than before.
2. The muffler makes a rattling sound, does it need to be replaced?
Barbecue it and see if it still does it
3. How do I know when its time to change the Clutch?
Rattling or poor shift out will tell you when to rebuild.

Uh, kinda loose is a very loose description. Also what clutch, drive or driven?
Sorry but I am a firm believer in having all the information before saying go spend money and bruise your knuckles.
