Talking Re: Using your knowledge BGW

I got off a little early from work to come home and tackle some more of the build. Cleaned all the dirt off the battery cables and cleaned the batteries with baking soda/water. Also checked on the paint job and they are backed up from the winter storm we had a couple of weeks ago. Paint won't be ready for at least 2 weeks. I can't complain when they are only charging me $175 for a custom color 2 stage paint.

I did convince my BOSS ( She's a Redhead therefore I listen ) that with the addition of the 23" tires and rear seat...We would have to replace more stuff. Going to order a new HD F/R switch from ScottyB and then beg next month for a controller.

Did you have to remove the f/r handle to get the kick covers off? (dunno the right name for em, the ones under the seat)

I hope to have mine stripped down to this point this weekend and be painting it.

Criley - the only thing that required me to take the F/R handle off was the removal of the body.

Talked to ScottyB today with my stupid questions and he explained in great detail what I needed. ScottyB is ! I ordered a new F/R switch cam and package 484 - Alltrax 4840 with HD solenoid. HOPEFULLY all goes well with the install next week.

Went ahead and ordered a new controller and F & R switch cam from ScottyB last week ...GREAT SERVICE! Installed everything with relative ease but do not have the cart running due to some questions. Does everything look correct based on what is visible? I have studied the diagram 10 times and it looks right to me. I have everything attached except 1 wire that leads into my next question.

Alltrax recommends that you run the solenoid neg black wire to RLY COIL neg. I'm assuming this is the wire that went from neg side of solenoid to battery neg on controller?

This stuff gets so confusing when your just starting out doing rebuilds. Thanks for all the help. My build on my cart is taken forever...might have it running sometime in May.

One of the many new features of the SPM control is the Solenoid cut off switch. If you connect to the controller the control will open the solenoid if it senses a short in the system. The cart will run either way - it is just an optional safety feature.
Your wiring looks clean
