Default RXV w/ high speed

Has anyone installed a high speed gear set in their Ezgo electric RXV? I'm interested in how the braking system reacts at higher speeds.

Default Re: RXV w/ high speed

It works, but it negatively affects braking performance. It also increases heat in the controller. The curtis controller has funky characteristics with hs gears (stops then goes opposite direction). curtis controller can be identified by black aluminum grill/cover over controller heatsink, danaher controller has raw aluminum cover.
