Since he's a series AXE guy, he had to cut off the Molex connector and crimp on spade connectors, like I did. Still worth looking at, as not all crimping tools, or the connectors themselves, are well built.

Mine does that once in a while when i turn the key on ,because my throttle pot is right on the edge, but if i tromp the throttle once or twice it comes back. I need to adjust it. Maybe it's something dumb like that? I bet the resistor has nothing to do with it, just a co·in·ci·dence :)

Search for a second thread by this member on the same problem. Diagnostics pointed toward an intermittent controller fault.

Yeah, I have a hard time remembering newer or less frequent posters. Multiple postings confuses me even more.

They are confusing - It's a practice that has been discouraged. But ..... it happens.
