Default diagnostic code 4-2 mechanical blockage

2000 PDS ezgo starts off then stops...beeps 4 times then two...chart says mechanical blockage but I can not find anything here or elsewhere what that suppose to mean or how to correct/test for problems...

HELP HELP

Bill

Also...Am I doing something wrong...I will do a search for something and it comes up with off the wall stuff that don't pertain to my search....
example...went to electric ez go and did a search for the 4-2 code and it gives me everything but that.

Thanks

4.2 The controller is saying the motor is stalled and the cart's path is blocked.
To me the report is akin to- the control is sending juice to the motor but it can not respond.
I have not seen this code. Maybe somebody who has can explain it better.

If the carts path is not blocked - this is an open can of worms. I wonder if there a problem in the motor?
Or if the F1 and 2 wires are shorting out on the frame as sometimes happen.

ScottyB...this is the motor that I bought from a gentleman on here...The motor tested good before I hooked the wires up...The cart moves...You can start out slow and it will go about 20 feet then stop...or you can nail it and it will take off fast and go a little further then drop out...It don't feel like a speed senor like on the CC.....It don't just slow down, it stops...now you can hold it to the floor and it will take off again but stops again...Seems it drops out hard, not like a club car speed sensor...I disconnected the speed sensor an it does the same thing...no affect by disconnecting.....batteries are good, wires are good and tight....solenoid has pack on one side and 2.1 less on the other side....

Im just not sure where to go next....any suggestions of anything to test please let me know just so I can do a process of elimination....

Thanks Bill

What is the resistance between F1 and F2 when measured at the motor terminals, no wires connected.

The above reading is at the motor both wires (F1 & F2) disconnected from the motor

ScottyB....let me throw some more information to you...probably should have done this first...

Battery Pack 37.2
BPN to battery side of solenoid 37.2
BPN to other side of solenoid 35.1

BPN to M 35.1
BPN to B- 0
BPN to B+ 35.1

M to B+ 0
M to B- 35.1

Nothing from M to B+ when I press the peddle down

I'll just throw this out - It could be the speed sensor if throwing a false reading making the control think the motor is stalling ? Can you try another speed sensor
