Default steering adjustment and turning

Installed my steering column today and noticed that my cart will turn much harder and sharper to the right. It doesn't turn as far to the left. I do not see any way of adjusting this on the txt's with steering box that mounts to the frame?? Any one else had this issue?

Have you followed the procedure in the service manual? (Page G-14)

OK Johnnie knows way more than I do about carts, my problem was about the same only mine also sagged on the drivers side about an inch lower. So it turned to 1 side more than the other. Page G 7 did the trick for mine, which is to square the front springs. Sits level and turning is even as far as I can tell. Good luck but what ever he says is better than most.

Steve, how important is it to square the front springs per page G7?. I installed a new drop axle lift kit and out of all the videos and instructions I have read none of them mention doing this. They basically unbolt the factory axle and reinstall the new one. I've tried to take some measurements but not exactly sure if mine is 100% straight.

Well for mine the left front tire was sticking out about 2.5 inches. Right about an inch. Now the tire are equally spaced. It handles better. With no rub on the left side anymore. So I guess it depends on what yours is doing

ok thanks that sounds like yours was a good bit off. I am just wondering how exact these things need to be. Say if they are an 1/8" or a 1/4" off does it make a huge difference.

I've had a couple that I could never get right. Even after following all procedures it was still like a friggin nascar and would only turn one way well, the other not so much. It seems like once in a while they just won't work. I have a few times had extra racks on hand and swapped them out and it would work fine. I cannot explain why and I had looked at the innards of both and there was no difference.
