Re: Speed reduced
Re check all your connections on the speed sensor and controller. Disconnect them spray some contact cleaner in them and reconnect.

Re: Speed reduced
I have run the speed sensor test at least 10 times prior to just now and it passed the test. The 11th time failed. Go figure.

Re: Speed reduced
My thinking is not that the speed sensor is bad, but the controller is not getting the information from it, or not fully processing it correctly. That's the reason I was saying clean the connections.

Re: Speed reduced
I did as you suggested and cleaned the connections. Drove it, still at 1/2 speed. Then did the speed sensor test and got nothing, no beep no slowing/ braking.

Re: Speed reduced
Next step is new speed sensor. Be sure to get a club car one, not an after market. They are know to fail pretty quick.
David at Revolution carts is a site sponsor would be a good place to get one. |

Re: Speed reduced
I ordered a cheap one, if it resolves the problem and fails. I will order from David. I am just parts changing till I find the problem. That being said I have learned a lot about my cart through all of the replies and appreciate every ones time and thoughts. Keep the ideas coming. Thanks.

Re: Speed reduced
Problem resolved..............speed sensor. Actually I think it was the magnet. The old one would barely pick up the smaller screw, the new one snatches the same screw.
