I assume and I do a lot of assuming lately. I hate to assume things, It equals a$$-u-me most of the time in my line of business.
Anyway, I assume that I'll be purchasing a MCOR from the link in your Sig in the near future. I'll have to pull the mat to verify which one it is but I "Assume" it will be a MCOR4.
I did the petal 25 time to the floor and back and it's acting like new right now but from the little education I have got, the problem ain't going away.

BTW, I have two CC's now, the one in my Sig and this one.
I could already tell you some stories about this one. The people whom I purchased it from, the word maintenance doesn't exist in their vocabulary nor their understanding.

Sure I'll be glad to work with you. The MCOR4 has proven to be a very good unit thus far. Very low failure rate in the MCOR4 compared to MCOR3. The MCOR got it's bad name when the MCOR3 came out. It was junk and only lasted two years before it was redesigned and called the MCOR4. The MCOR2 is a proven unit that's been known to last up to 10 years. I changed one today that was dated 2006 so it's possible for them to last quite a while. I think the key to it is to use your cart often enough to keep the internal contacts clean. Let me know what I can do to help.

I have a "V-glide" that's 19 years old
Can be a 0-5kΩ or
5k - 0 Ω
Maybe even a 0 - 1KΩ

The MCOR has a potentiometer in it. That's a big step up from the old wiper arm V-glide. I have seen 30 yr old pots working as good as day one in Ezgos. I suspect the waterproof case is not keeping the moisture out but is holding any moisture that gets in in thus creating a corrosive environment. Or it's just a failure to select proper materials for production. Whatever the cause these things have a horrific failure rate.

They definitely last longer than any other throttle device Club Car has ever offered, but they don't operate nearly as smoothly as an MCOR throttle.
