2010 TXT PDS 36V Solenoid replacement
Hello Everyone. I am new to this forum and golf carts in general. I have a 2010 EZGO TXT PDS 36V cart. The existing solenoid does not have a diode or resistor installed currently and I want to replace the solenoid. After reading through a few threads, I am unclear whether I should install a resistor or diode. Could anyone help me with the determination? Thank you!

Re: 2010 TXT PDS 36V Solenoid replacement
Yes, all controller carts (PDS included) should have a precharge resistor and diode on the solenoid. For 36v use a 250-270 ohm 5-10w resistor and a 1-3 amp 1000v suppression diode.

Re: 2010 TXT PDS 36V Solenoid replacement
Thank you for the information. I will be acquiring these parts and installing. Going to look in here for the proper wiring diagram for this.
Thanks again |
