Melted battery post
It's 36 volt with 6 new Trojan batteries. It's a Western resistor on a Marathon chassis. Battery post melted last year, I replaced the battery and cable and the same one melted again. Please help.

Don't tighten the bolts on the battery studs so tight. Spec is 95 to 105 in/lb, which is only 7.9 to 8.6 ft/lb. |
