That makes sense. The relay was just loose inside the unit. Previous owner must of bypassed it. Probably means relay is bad. Right?

I would go ahead and get the repair kit and replace the diode rectifiers and breaker as well:

You have a PowerDrive model 17930, right:

Yes, 17930.
I already ordered a relay.
Do I necessarily need the diode heatsink, or the circuit breaker?

I removed the red and blue wires from the charger relay and measured voltage between the two with the charger plugged into the cart receptacle. My meter read 47.1 volts.
Does this mean the obc is working properly, or at least communicating with the charger?

UPDATE

I received the new charger relay, and installed it as shown in the pictures you shared. I t is working. now i just have to see if it shuts off on its own. It came on about 5-10 seconds after plugging it in, and it started charging about 10 amps, and working its way down.

Good news although the current should always go to the maximum when the charging starts regardless if the batteries are already charged.
