Lift and Tires??
I have 2014 Precedent and currently looking at a 3 lift kit preferably the A-Arm style not the spindle lift, unfortunately I will not have the money for a wheel and tire combo, so my question is how dumb would it look for a 20 tire to be on an 8 stock size rim?? If anyone has this setup I would love to see pics thanks everyone in advance

Re: Lift and Tires??
Good luck finding a 20 inch tire on a 8 inch rim. All I could fine was lawn mower tractor tires. You may want to upgrade your rims to 10 inch or 14 inch. 10 inch rims will ride a lot softer than 14 inch more rubber to soften the ride.
20 inch tires will look good on a 3 or 4 inch lift. 20 inch will rub if you dont lift the cart at least 3 inches. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk |

Re: Lift and Tires??
Tractor supply sells some decent 20" tires for 8in wheels. They are a bit wide though. I'll try and find a pic.

I guess I stand corrected on the tractor tires.

Re: Lift and Tires??
I have questions for you.. 1) Can you post a full size picture of that red precedent in your profile picture? My 2013 is red and I like the way yours sits on its tires and lift kit.
I don't want my golf cart's center of gravity to be higher than it needs to be. 2) What size lift kit does that red cart have? 6 inch? 3) What size and make are the tires? I need some off road tires that can also travel on grass and dirt roads.. not a full aggressive knobby, but something more than the general all terrain tread. I've been looking around and have come to realize I don't like tires with the rounded edges on them that have that balloon.. I like the square edges. And I want a tire that will last. Suggestions? |
