Default charger probs

have a 2010 48v txt. cart runs great... I have the powerwise eq charger. I brought the cart home for a charge . the charger would blink twice red pause then twice red again.....I plugged it in a few times and unplugged to see if it helped. nope. next day I went plug charger into cart again and it started popping and sparking(THE CHARGER) to a point I thought it might catch fire. Im wondering do I have a charger problem or a cart problem that fried the charger? any wise ones out there who might know whats going on? im just too old to walk golf courses!!! PLEASE HELP!!!

This might be best handled by an experienced tech.
There is little you can do to test a eq charger.

If you are getting sparks, you do not want to plug a new charger into cart or your charger into another cart.

How good are you with a voltmeter?

The problem is probably the charger.

If you have a dealer or reputable cart repair shop nearby, you might take it by to see
what they say.

ScottyB (site sponsor) Has good deals on chargers. Call him for good replacement.

Sorry, EQ chargers are not "field repairable" .
