Did the controller wire running to solenoid and moved to same large post as positive. Drove the cart, light jerking but the pedal has to be around 70-80% depressed for it to start going.

Go ahead and replace the Solenoid and Diode, the Solenoid contacts are most likely worn out.

As far as the throttle response, we need to measure exactly what signal the controller is getting.

Undo the by-pass so the solenoid-to-controller cable is again on its own big solenoid post.

Disconnect the OBC 3-pin connector. This will remove the negative side of the Solenoid coil and prevent the cart from running during the measurements.

Set your meter to 20vDC.

Turn the key ON and put FNR in Forward.

You need to measure the voltage on controller Terminal #3 (Yellow wire), with all the wires connected, so You may need to pull the terminal slightly out to allow the meter probe to make contact.

Measure the voltage from Terminal #3 (positive probe) to Controller B- (negative probe) as You press the pedal.

Write down the voltage range from Pedal up to Pedal down and make sure the transition is smooth.

Last night I changed out the solenoid and new diode and it was still jerking.

Going to measure signal to controller now.. Standby

Testing voltage on controller
Meter set to 20vdc
passed 50% pedal switched to 200vdc

Terminal #3 on controller (positive)
to
Controller B- (negative)

Did two test to see accuracy:
1st Test:
Pedal Up - 1
Pedal @ 20% 18.2
Pedal @ 50% 13.9
Pedal @ 70% 47.2
Pedal @ 100% 8.83

2nd Test:
Pedal Up - 1
Pedal @ 20% 13.2
Pedal @ 50% 13.55
Pedal @ 70% 46.55
Pedal @ 100% 8.93

Something I noticed with negative probe to yellow and positive probe to B- Controller would give me a positive reading.

But if I followed per your instructions putting positive probe to yellow #3 terminal & negative probe to B- on Controller I would see nothing but -(negative readings) -18.2, -13.9, etc...

Wow, something is really wired wrong

There should be a Purple wire coming from the MCOR that is connected to Controller B-, make sure that wire is connected there and not to M-.

Look closely at the controller, B+ and M- should not have any small gauge wires connected to them.

Just noticed something in this photo .. I guess from the angle I was standing at the B+ looked like a B- .. Which means I tested the wrong post on the controller

That picture helps out a lot. You have an Alltrax DCX controller, which were known for exhibiting jerking issues when the MCOR was out of range (DCX had tight throttle parameters). But since you replaced the MCOR, that shouldn't come into play with this issue

EDIT: Just saw that you had a Series car rather than an IQ. Should be either an NPX or an AXE. Not 100% sure if the MCOR throttle issues were prevalent with those Alltrax controllers

I see it is not the stock controller....

Look at the label(s) on the controller, it should indicate the model # and what kind of throttle it is designed for.

It is not a DCX as those are for Sepex.

The LED should give a blink count when You power it up (hopefully 7 green).
