Wow, starting to get a little attention from my neighbors. Getting lots of thumbs up when I go to the mailbox. I got the carpet pieces glued into the cubby holes, and the beer tray put in. I know you can buy dice valve caps, but I just wanted to be able to say I made them. The vinyl top is on and looks great. Sorry I didn't get to show how my wife made it, but it was pretty much stretching clear plastic over the frame and making a pattern. She made three pieces so that the seams would be on the supports and look like a roadster top. I got the bumpers painted and am letting them dry. Once they are installed I guess it will be ready to show off. The only thing I need now is put a set of wide white walls on. Anyone know where I can find a set that doesn't cost an arm and a leg?

Actually the time line is very close to the postings. I had most of the sanding and priming done when I first posted. There were so many cracks in the fiberglass that needed repaired, it would taken 10 or so pages to show all of the filling and sanding. To answer your question though, Yes it has gone rather fast. Pretty much everything is re-furbished. I was able to reuse pretty mush everything. Plus I am retired, so I was able to work on it all day like a real job.

Thanks Millertime. Clemsoncartguy, Google western golf cart and you will see several. I have seen at least 10 over the last couple years. A company used to take ez-go frames and put their bodies on them, and are actually built quite well. Most people don't know what they are, so the can be had fairly cheep. I have just a fuzz under 1K in mine, including the cart itself.
