Rxv trouble running
Hello everyone. I am messing with an rxv I picked up. I am having an issue with it. It will run a lil bit, then I will hit the pedal and does nothing. Sometimes the solenoid will click and sometimes it will not. I can't tell if it is a pedal position thing or what. Has anyone had any issues with this cart doing this? Batteries are at 50.7 than k you in advance.

Re: Rxv trouble running
What year is it / Which controller do you have the Danaher (up to mid 2012) or the Curtis (post mid 2012, or upgraded older model)

Re: Rxv trouble running
Mine did the same thing and it was the positive connection on the rear battery. If it's dirty or a little loose it will get really hot and loose contact. As soon as it does you'll smash your face on the wheel if your going fast enough. Might not be your issue but worth looking into.

Re: Rxv trouble running
I will check the controller in the morning first thing. I will also double ck the connections. It will move some and then the next time you hit the pedal it will just click and go no where.

Re: Rxv trouble running
When I put the cart in run the key will activate the system when I turn it on. It also does the same thing with the switch in tow. Why???

Re: Rxv trouble running
I just noticed something. When I turn the key on the solenoid clicks two times. I put a meter on it an when it clicks the outgoing cable to the controller voltage drops to 39 volts. Would you say it is dripping out? I can't even get a click now from pedal activation

Re: Rxv trouble running
There are a few, but it helps to know what you have, as I asked before What year is your RXV? (see above), early models did have problems with their main solenoid, if yours is built before 2010 can you post a picture of your solenoid so we can see if it is original problem prone style.
