I don't want to "leap ahead" as you need to keep pursuing the battery issue and (as a good physician would do in a medical case) "rule out" that anything is wrong with your batteries.

Once you have determined your batteries are still good....if that is in fact the case, then you need to determine if your connections (your big fat wires) are all nice 'n clean and connected well (or is that good? ) and that the crimp of those wires to their connectors are still solid. Corrosion in the wire terminal where the wire's are crimped does occur and this will cause power consumption as the "amp's" can't flow freely from the batt's to the motor like they use to.

But again....don't jump ahead.

^^^^^ don't jump ahead is right. But cleaning those while you wait isn't a bad idea. Any brake drag?

Above they gave an example, so I'll give one also. I use my cart 4+ days spring summer and fall but may once every couple weeks over winter. And when spring rolls around my cart is always slower and not as long of a run time but after a month it speeds back up and run time extends. They like the drain and charge. But this I'm sure you know

Overall is down to 50.80, and four of the six batteries are down to, on average, 8.46 while two are holding at 8.50

Well that's a relief, I thought the drop was bad!

I'm probably going to wind up just taking it in either way, but it's good to have a sense that the batteries aren't the issue as I wasn't looking forward to dropping that kind of cash on the thing.

You may not have any problems other than procedural.

The OBC has a storage charging feature, not a stand-by charging feature.

if You leave the charger plugged in, the OBC only initiates a charging cycle every 15 days in order to keep the batteries from going bad.

If you left the cart plugged in for more than 1 week, You should start another charging cycle before driving the cart.

Just unplug the DC cord from the cart, wait 30 seconds and plug it back in.

Once the charging cycle finishes, you battery pack should be ready to go.

So, every Monday, if I haven't run the cart over the weekend, unplug it and plug it back in?

Only if You are going to drive it to ensure 100% SOC, it is not necessary to do it if you leave it parked.

In the first post You said: "...and we run the cart about once a month....".

SOC?

Currently the cart will sit for 1-2 weeks between rides. The ranging issues we've been having have meant it's been getting less use, but the average is still about once every two weeks, and it stays plugged in at all times when it's not being driven.

Is there maybe a better/nicer charger we should be or could be using to get better battery life and performance? Possibly one of the on-board chargers?

something like the Lester On-Board 48 Volt Golf Cart Battery Charger
