not going
2006 48v club car with Cortis controller
The main solenoid does not click Has 48v supply but the earth is not being triggered. I have supplied an earth to the solenoid and it clicks but still no drive. Unsure if the earth is supplied directly by the controller or maybe from the accelerator pedal. I would like to know how to proceed in fault finding this issue |

Re: not going
I found a wiring diagram in stickys
The earth wire comes out of the controller to the solenoid I would guess I need to test the motor controller ( accelerator pedal wiring box ) for an input back to the controller Any helpful advice ? |

Re: not going
Some got the "-" from the OBC and some from the controller. But if you provided the "-" and no movement you are probably down to a motor or controller issue.
Sergio had something a few weeks ago where someone was running a similar issue down. You can test the motor at anytime and confirm it does or does not work. |

Re: not going
Unplug the two pin connector from the MCOR (potentiometer) and jump out the connector. It will have a blue wire and green wire. Use a paper clip or a small piece of wire. If it runs with the jumper in place, replace the MCOR with an AM293101 MCOR4 conversion kit. If not, post results here and I'll help you narrow it down.

Re: not going
I m just in the process of testing the motor
I have removed wires and joined A1 to F1 and A2 to F2 applied pos to A1 and neg to A2 motor turns in reverse Was uncertain if to reverse pos and neg to test forward or to swap F1 to A2 and F2 to A1 as in a sticky I read and keep pos and neg as in first test Will bridge wiring from accelerator when wires refitted to normal |

Re: not going
Jumped two wires to MCOR and now the solenoid clicks
The Cart is up on axle stands and it drives the wheels now but very slowly I guess a new MCOR will also give me full power |

Re: not going
It's not supposed to run full speed when it's up in the air. The speed sensor on the motor is slowing it down to prevent over-revving. Replace the MCOR4 with the conversion kit. Don't buy another MCOR1. The only ones available now are Chinese knock-offs.

Re: not going
Thank you I have a MCOR4 on order
I will replace and update you as soon as I can The wheels were only just turning whilst on axle stands with those wires bridged so I may have a further problem. |

Re: not going
Just replaced MCOR but still have no drive forward but drives ok in reverse which is an improvement
In forward the solenoid clicks and the electric motor gives one shudder but no movement I was thinking about swapping the F1 and F2 to see if I have forward drive whilst reverse selected Possible F and R switch ? Maybe relevant the on off switch in the dash is not turning off the power |
