Jumpy on take off, stalls at top end
So i did up grade from scottyb 4 or 5 years ago from resistor to controller complete with torque motor. Best money i ever spent. Don't know what has happened to cause the accelerator pedal to be super jumpy on start and than stall as it approaches top end. What needs help ?
Thanks in advance ! |

The potentiometer is wet and/or out of adjustment. I would bet a hairdryer might fix it.

Re: Jumpy on take off, stalls at top end
So i have had the cart stored in a garage an can safely rule out water I believe . Will it be the small switch where wires go in the potentiometer that has failed ?

Re: Jumpy on take off, stalls at top end
I have never had to adjust the potentiometer, do I replace the entire MCOR ( i assume that's the assembly that serves as a throttle when pedal is pushed ?
Sorry to be so stupid |

Re: Jumpy on take off, stalls at top end
If You did a conversion from a Resistor cart, You do not have an MCOR.
If it is a Curtis PB-6(5) box, I think You can find the potentiometer for sale, maybe some sponsor sells them... |
