Re: 1998 EZ-GO TXT Series 36V Upgrades and Performance Issues
I went ahead got a Curtis 1313 programmer on loan. Adjusted some parameters and the cart feel much better but now I have discovered an issue.
The controller only receivers power when you are on the throttle. That explains the delay in start up. Spilt the key power wire between the Micro switch and J1 on the controller. Cart feels great now. |

In addition. The programming helped a lot. The acceleration rate and throttle map adjustments were part of the reason for slow acceleration, but I drove another cart with an AllTrax Controller and it feels a little more responsive. The Curtis is likely geared towards OEM use will only give you so much. If I were to do it again I would start with an AllTrax. Might go 48V per everyone’s suggestions. |

[QUOTE=handtools;1475055]Here is my setup for batteries in the Bagwell. No concerns about the weight or support.
Looks good! Did you make the bracket or purchase it? |

Re: 1998 EZ-GO TXT Series 36V Upgrades and Performance Issues
Looking at 48V conversion. Any preference on 48V chargers?
I have a DPI Accusense now, but also see that the Yewey 1200Z is available? The cart sits from long periods of time so the float charge is an important feature to me. |
