Default Rattling noise

I still have this rattling noise coming from what seems the rear half of cart. BUT only when under load. Doesn't do it at all with just me on it, and with me and the Wife it only does it on a steep incline. BUT add Two more adults on the rear seat and it will do it a LOT !!!!
I have to see if tires are rubbing anywhere but have found no evidence of that. Motor pulls good even while rattling is present.

Switching gears....will speed code 4 give me any more torque for pulling hills with a load on? I slow down to a crawl on most hills and amp gage takes a BIG dip. Batteries are a year old with very little use. I keep them charged all the time, following the Battery maintenance recommended on this site by ScottyB and others.

What say you ???

Can you post a short video of the rattle?

Speed code 4 will only add top speed, no torque increase. For torque you need a controller and/or motor upgrade.

I'll try to do that over the weekend, we will be camping and will have plenty of opportunity for it to rear it's nasty head!

OH YEAH !!! One other thing I forgot to include in my description of noise, when it makes the noise the BRAKE PETAL bounces at the same rate that the rattle is making. Maybe I should describe it more as a rapid thumping sound than a rattle.

Sounds to me like your axle is twisting. Pulling the brake cables. Also you could have broken or loose springs in your brake shoes.

Check your u-bolts...the nuts should be brought up to spec with a torque wrench

Are you getting a pulsating brake pedal when you apply pressure?

A similar issue happens like the twisting axle that is caused on lifted carts that didn't have the driver side brake cable replaced with the longer left side cable. Happened to me and couldn't figure it out, kept trying to adjust the brake cables that didn't do any good. Finally learned about switching out shorter driver side bake cable with the longer left side cable and never a problem again. Just wanted to mention this as a possibility.

OK, you may be on to something !!!! I checked my brake cables and the passenger side has a long cable, but the driver side cable is MUCH shorter. And yes I do get a pulsating brake petal when I slow down with a LOAD (4 Adults) on it. With just me it seems to do just fine. I tighten the rear U bolts very tight (not sure what the torque specs are) but they are tight!! Had no effect on noise.
I made a video with my phone but couldn't distinguish the sound from the Knobby tire noise. Tires are very Noisy!!!

Where can I get the correct brake cable and what length?

Thanks for your help!!!
