Tell the forum about your cart, how you use it, and what performance expectations do you have.

Is it lifted with large tires?
Does it have a backseat?
Dirt or pavement?
Hills or flat?
How fast do you need it to go?

Post that info, and while you’re waiting for replies you can go to the link below to learn about upgrading your cart.

The Alltrax XCT48400PDS is the most popular upgrade for this cart.

I’m thinking of going with the Alltrax with solenoid from cartsunlimited for $509 what you all think? Would I really need the 2G cable or I’ll b fine without it

8 inch tires no back seat pavement and just really want to get it going so I can play a round of golf but also want the controller to last

Scottyb will hook you up.

As for the cables, you definitely want to upgrade the stock 6g. I’ve read plenty of times that 4g is enough for most 400 or 500 amp systems, but most people tend to go 2g. It’s the power delivery system, so not something you really want to go cheap on

1. That is a good choice.

2. The cables most likely need to be replaced and you didn't mention the need to climb hills, so 4Ga will likely suffice, but 2Ga will be better.
