Default 2014 CC Precedent slow

Cart started running super slow. Checked batteries and all was great even got the tree beeps from the ERIC charger. Speed sensor test failed. Ordered replacement replaced and still running slow. Does something need to be reset?

Did you change the speed magnet when you changed the sensor? It could be the magnet vs the sensor and would give you the same symptoms.

If you have then make sure you put it in tow...then disconnect the full battery pack for 30-60 min. This should be enough to reset everything.

BM has a point, also you want to check the MCOR output and see (verify) you are getting 100% throttle. Could be an MCOR potentiometer issue.....

Remember that plumquick motor has a modified speed magnet in case you need to replace it.

Sergio, if the magnet was intact no physical damage i should re-use the magnet and not the one that came with the new kit?

How many points does the PQ magnet use? CC magnets have 4 posts does the PQ magnet have more?

I did change the magnet with the one that was included in the new speed sensor. the "old" one in the plum quick motor did not have any physical damage.

I will reset the OBC and see what happens

The OEM magnet has 8 poles and the speed magnet has 4 poles.

Plumquick used to grind the OEM magnet on the "bandit" upgrades, I don't know if their other motors have a regular shaped magnet.

By "driving slow" You mean 14mph?
